Jin is a design studio and distributor of fine woven upholstery
and drapery fabrics sold to the interior design trade. Founded in
1982 by Ruth Friend, whose given name is Myung Jin, the company
originally designed and produced handwoven chenille in house, as
well as cottons from India. The company was purchased by Harsey
and Associates in 2007 and has followed in the tradition of Myung
Jin by creating wonderful upholstery and drapery fabrics using a
variety of exclusive novelty yarns that look hand woven. Myung Jin
is proud that all new fabrics introduced since have been woven in
America.
Myung Jin is represented in 16 to the trade showrooms in the U.S. and Canada as well as in Asia. our collection is recognized as an industry leader in woven design. Working with the leading weavers in the United States, Myung Jin continues to create a collection with depth in textural combinations and a color palette that is natural and contemporary.
